"Quotes Page"

Unfortunately, due to programmer ignorance (that'd be me) I couldn't configure this page to work with a cgi-bin file and my server. Thus any form input you've submitted will not appear on this page until I repost it.

-For those of you who don't know what that meant, it means that if you submit a quote with a quote you'd like to share it will not appear on this page until I edit this page and add the new information.

Do not fear, I will update this page weekly (if not faster) and add your input.

quote: "To escape criticism -- do nothing, say nothing, be nothing."
source: Elbert Hubbard; American author and publisher (1856-1915)
comments: This quote plainly states that criticism is everywhere. You should act how you believe is just and accept the criticism that is bound to come. If you fear what others might think and attempt to escape criticism you will reduce yourself to nothing (and thus, in my opinion, deserve some real criticism).

quote: "I don't know if I am real without you. What is left of me without you? I don't know what's real without you. How can I exist without you?"
source: Stabbing Westward: "Shame"
comments: "Shame" digs deep into the essence of love and desire. It shows that a person can care for someone so much, that life is incomplete- perhaps non-existent.

quote: "See my shadow changing, stretching up and over me. Soften this old armor. Hoping I can clear the way by stepping through my shadow, coming out the other side. Step into the shadow. Forty six and two are just ahead of me."
source: Tool: "Forty-Six & Two"
comments: The Tool lyrics represent the urge to get away from it all, but even when you try, your problems are still right there where you left off. Or in this case, they get out in front of you.
